Green tea is acknowledged as the most holistic and superlative beverage now a days. Its appealing flavor, aroma and hue of spring is not only captivating but also gives enchanting bunch of beneficial phytonutrients and least content of caffeine as compared with other teas. It is the extensively least processed tea and provides more antioxidants polyphenols. Owing to its intricate polyphenol properties it is widely used to treat countless diseases varying from simple viral infection to chronic disorders, like cardiovascular disease, cancer and osteoporosis.
Green tea protects the heart due to its antioxidant properties from developing coronary artery disease. Catechins are appreciably used to put down the enzymes which are accountable to develop free radicals in endothelial lining of artery, a thick lining where plaques can be easily accumulated. It also capably lowers the incidence of atherosclerosis by decreasing the amount of LDL cholesterol, triglycerides and fibrinogen and increases the ratio of HDL cholesterol. Moreover, another important component EGCG (epigallocatechin-3-gallate) is extremely defensive against developing ischemia and brain injury after stroke.
Green tea is also very valuable in the prevention from almost all forms of cancers, and its anticancer effect is due to the existence of phytoneutrients particularly catechins, which increase the production of detoxifying enzymes, and develops the potential to detoxify carcinogens.
Grean tea is excellent in helping the treament of type-2 diabetes. It also protects kidneys to develop stones, by minimizing the production of free radicals that are highly toxic for kidneys. Moreover, it is especially supportive in the reinforcement of bones strength and teeth, by defending it from osteoblasts, and hinders the production of osteoclasts.
Moreover, green tea encompasses three major components catechins, caffeine, and theanine that provide aid in losing fat particularly from abdominal cavity, viscera and internal organs. These components reduce the synthesis of triglycerides and fatty acids. Consequently, fat could not deposit in the form of adipose in the body. It is also very effective in controlling symptoms of cold and flu and useful in genital warts.
In addition, green tea is very favorable in the cognitive development and is very helpful in Parkinson’s disease. It reduces severity of headache and increases the memory.
A word of caution; in spite of its useful results it also has some shortcomings. It may cause some possible interaction with adenosine, benzodiazepines, blood thinning medicines and chemotherapy medicines. Moreover, taking excessive mounts of caffeine specifically from green tea for a long period may cause irritability, insomnia, palpitation and dizziness.
For the most part however, it performs in a brilliant way for boosting our health and fitness.

It is rich in K, Mn, Mg, Fe, vit C, vit A, B1(thiamine), vit B2(riboflavin), vit B3(niacin) and B6(pyridoxine), flavonoid polyphenolic antioxidants such as lycopene and cryptoxanthin as well as dietary fibers and very low in sodium, sugar and some types of saturated fats. It regulates pulse rate and blood pressure. Black pepper seems to be very curative in case of toothy decay, toothache, eye diseases, ear-aches, joints pain; and is favorable for hernia, insect bites and hoarseness.
Despite its various benefits there are also some side effects as it causes sneezing. Patients who have been through abdominal surgery should avoid it on account of its irritating effect on intestines. It can cause impotency having negative effects on sperms. Moreover, it is harmful for ulcers and diverticutitis conditions. therefore, it should be consumed in moderate amounts instead of high concentrations.

Among its many effects it has beneficial effects on almost all the organs of the body. It is also used as a spice to add flavor and aroma to many Asian cuisines. Herbalists have admired it a lot since ancient era for its healing properties. It is also an excellent antioxidant due to one of its ingredient chemicals known as gingerol, which is an intense inhibitor of nitric oxide synthesis. It also helps in digestion by neutralizing the effects of gastric acids which may be responsible for nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting. Interestingly, pregnancy induced nausea and vomiting can be alleviated by taking 1 gm of ginger for short period of time (not more than 4 days). It possesses numerous nutrients like carbohydrate, dietary fiber, protein, vitamin B6, and folate. It also contains minerals like magnesium, potassium, phosphorus and manganese.
Among many other important and beneficial effects, it also significantly reduces the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, low density lipoprotein (LDL), and very low density lipoprotein (VLDL) and prevents the blood clotting by inhibiting the atherosclerosis . Anti-cancerous features can be attributed to the polyphenols, which also retard the growth of helico-bectar pylori, a causative agent in developing gastric, colon and ovarian cancer.

Dark chocolates are very well known heart beneficial and used almost everywhere as main candy, confection or serve as a desert after the meal. It endures good taste, medical properties and health benefits, and its good taste and magnificent qualities are remarkably acknowledged. It is a food which acts as stimulant for the people. Another outstanding characteristic of dark chocolate is that it has anti oxidative properties and it helps to fight off heart attacks. Due to its poly phenolic characteristics it is considered more beneficial for heart health because poly phenols in chocolate are more potent. They are collectively called healthy heart nutrients and are known to protect the cardiovascular system of the body.
Dark chocolates are used and produced commercially. They contain saturated fats such as stearic and palmitic acid which when used in moderate amounts lowers the quantity of LDL cholesterol in the blood which is considered bad for heart. In addition to saturated fats dark chocolates also contain monounsaturated fats such as oleic acid. Blood pressure and LDL cholesterol are the 2 main factors which determine the overall health of the heart.
Dark chocolate has immense effects on human health. It contains antioxidant such as flavanoids, which is considered beneficial for heart and involves the reduction of the production of LDL cholesterol which are suggested to be dangerous for heart. It affects heart to the appalling levels. Flavanols have anti clotting ability and avoids the formation of clogs or clots in the arteries and reduce the amount of platelets which are somewhat are less likely to form clots. It has very healthy effects on heart such as it reduces the blood pressure, decrease the level of bad cholesterol LDL and the risk of hemorrhagic stroke. Dark chocolates are also responsible for suppressing the cough, inhibiting diarrhea and helps to facilitate dilation, along with decreased risk of infarction.
Eating foods high in flavanoids are considered good for arteries. Even though milk chocolate also contains flavanoids, it has added butter fat. Flavanols also contain high level of nitrite and nitrate and known to be the benedictions for the heart as it helps in lowering of Blood pressure. Formation of nitric oxide by the intake of flavanoids through consumption of dark chocolates improves the circulation of blood in blood vessels. Falvanols which contain more than 70 % cocoa content in dark chocolates are considered heart friendly. Flavanols which contains epicatchins as its ingredient helps to increase the blood flow in arteries.
Dark chocolates which are considered as heart beneficiaries confections contains compound called procyanidin, which have potent metabolic effects. These chocolates have many potential factors due to its different sources. Poly phenols present in dark chocolates are more potent. Due to poly phenolic activity of dark chocolate it is considered beneficial for heart health. It increase the level of good cholesterol( HDL) as much as 10 %. The content of cocoa in phenols helps in lowering of blood pressure and ameliorate the heart health.
Saturated fats found in dark chocolates i.e. stearic and palmitic acids are known to increase the levels of LDL cholesterol, the bad cholesterol for heart and increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, but their use in moderation will be considered beneficial for heart. Dark chocolate contains oleic acid, the mono unsaturated fatty acid, which lowers the levels of LDL cholesterols in the blood. Restraint use of dark chocolate is less likely to cause obesity.
Dark chocolate acts as trigger or stimulant for the people which have some problems regarding the cardiovascular system of the body such as it is best medicinal effect for the irregular heart beats. So to get rid of Arrythmia, people should consume dark chocolates in required amounts.
