Fasting is a very familiar practice for all of us generally. But sometimes it varies from the perspective of its main objective as some people fast due to religious purposes, some due to diet or attaining spiritual peace. It also differs from religion to religion like Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism. Its duration and phases fluctuates too. But the common point is that offers a lot of health benefits.
To begin with, it brings harmony, inner peace, and raises our awareness and these characteristics play a major function in stabilizing our mental health and fitness. It provides us with the opportunity to come up for air from our every day lifestyle and confers a possibility for our body to take a pause and gives break to its different organs. Fasting helps out for the accomplishment of abdominal fitness. But one has to keep in mind that fast does not mean cutting our diet to an extreme. In the same way while breaking our fast, avoid from overeating and initially prefer fruit and vegetables. Certain limitations are there, when one is suffering from severe disease or his/her health conditions are not very compatible then he/she can skip it as clearly stated in the Holy Quran “(Fasting) for a fixed number of days; but if any of you is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed number (Should be made up) from days later. For those who can do it (With hardship), is a ransom, the feeding of one that is indigent. But he that will give more, of his own free will, it is better for him. And it is better for you that ye fast, if ye only knew.” (2:184). So fasting really helps us in bringing serenity to our lives and accomplishing peaceful health.
Zam Zam water is the finest water found in the entire earth as it also declared in a Hadith, Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) said: “The best water on the face of the earth is the water of Zam Zam; it is a kind of food and a healing from sickness.” The traits it seizes are fully tremendous. The way it came into being was a wonder, it happened in the heart of the desert, its uniformity is a miracle as it has never dried up for thousands of years.

Ibn ‘Abbaas(R.A) said: “The people of Makkah used to be the fastest when it comes to sprinting, and the most powerful when it comes to wrestling, but as soon as they stopped drinking Zam Zam water, they started to suffer from a disease in their legs.” It is also observed diabetic pilgrims who drink Zam Zam regularly during Hajj did not need Insulin during Hajj, and sugar was diminished from their urine and blood too. Same piece of information was viewed for blood pressure patients as there was no need of medicine for them. Its intake is also beneficial for coping with stomach disorders like it helps in reducing acidity of stomach and also facilitates in coping with the problem of anorexia. The rate of oxygen in it is half of the rate which WHO has declared as standard rate for having healthier life. The presence of Iron, magnesium, sulphur, sodium oxide, aids in coping with anemia, sharpens the mind, and improves metabolism.
If water holds 250 grams of bi-carbonates per liter then it is regarded as mineral and digestive water, and water of the spring of Ivian (France), in which the rate of bi-Carbonates is 357 mgs/liter is most well-known mineral water in the world is that of, but rate of bi-Carbonates is 366 mgs/liter in Zam Zam water so it is truly said in the Hadith that “Zam Zam water is (proper) for whatever (purpose) it is drunk for.”

People who undergo from the experience of panic attack infer body symptoms like dizziness, heart palpitations, and tragic thoughts. In the panic cycle, the primary stage is Initial stimulus. Initial stimulus can be an occasion or a circumstance that flashes the panic cycle like under breathing. Even in an unconscious state of such kind of experience we begin to worry about that stimulus, worrying thoughts like I am starting to get dizzy and these thoughts leads us to the next phase which is called as Physiological arousal. When physiological arousal is triggered it incorporates signs like fast heartbeat, increased respiration, slow digestion, prompt sweating, and muscular tension and during such conditions one feels uneasy. Basically human body is programmed to construe any possible risk as a threat that we need to fight or run off, this is why due to worrying thoughts such signs arise. Consequently to this phase the next stage is thinking, catastrophic thoughts. This phase adds to the fight-or-flight grounding all the more like this is the end I am going to die now, I am getting mad, I am going to have a heart attack etc. and this phase results into a heightened physiological arousal. When our body digs up the significance that we are in huge risk it discharges enormous quantity of adrenaline, and strengthens the catastrophic thoughts even more and it boosts the physical symptoms and finally it terminates in an advanced panic attack. Now the basic and key fact is to chuck out its destructive effects and cut it short. In order to get rid from it one needs to disrupt this panic cycle in its early stages. We need to have the capability of identifying and repeating our self that panic symptoms are not risky and do not direct to anything disastrous. It is right, they can be scratchy but they cannot become the source of enduring physical harm. A panic itself cannot cause heart breakdown and some other detrimental things wrongly perceived by different individuals such as suffocation, getting faint, going crazy, and loosing control. One has to find out to substitute catastrophic thoughts with pragmatic ones. For this purpose at the start, we require recognizing of our catastrophic thoughts which comes to our mind in answer to the physical feelings of panic like, I am going to make a scene, I am going to act foolish etc. Secondly, one needs to ask him/her self about the realism of such thoughts, challenge their soundness with asking some questions like did they truly happen actually in our past life? If we got panicked what happened at that similar situation? What are the objective medical details? Finally, make an effort to replace them with more practical ones. Like if we feel, I am going to pass out because of dizziness, and then try to replace it with more realistic one, like I am in the early stages of panic, that’s why I am feeling so no one ever passed out as a result of panic and this will shutdown in the end. Believe that after a while, it will shift.

Stress has become a huge dilemma in the current scenario one feels that he/she is not capable to muddle through with his/her problems. But the positive side of this picture is that every crisis has its resolution. Different people demonstrate diverse signs of stress like anger, sleep difficulties, improper diet, emotional outbursts etc. The background story varies from person to person; there is blend of basic roots to the critical problem like death, illness, financial crises, job performance and so many. But whatever the reasons are it is our own negative attitude towards hurdles that undermines those upbeat features that can transform the circumstances into a positive one.
The difference between Human and an Angel is that paradise is handed to the angels while humans have to create their own! Meditation aids us in the formation of that paradise for us; it acts as a journey which leads us towards inner peace. It takes us into a very deeper, more fundamental region of our own individuality that is not so easy to imprison in language. It connects us to our deepest inner self. So it permits us to realize a healthier outlook on the opinions, emotions, and desires through continuously mind and body cycling.
Sometimes when we criticize our self for not getting what we want to do, in such criticism we become more victimized of depressing thoughts like fears, worries, and underestimation. But if we nurture compassion in self-observation it modifies us to a new tender association with our own self and it depends on accepting our self and the rest of the world as it is. Meditation facilitates us in creating a space between our self and our restless thoughts, and it leads to a prolonged awareness. This awareness is constantly accessible to us, but a great deal of the time it’s buried under the regular hustle and bustle of psychological chatter and emotional feedbacks. In order to broaden our awareness one has to focus on relaxing and settling into greater degrees of it. Awareness results in achieving the inner peace which also fetches other unconditioned states like wisdom, pleasure, absolute love, and deep insight.
Meditation can be learned like learning anything else; it just calls for time, effort, and regular practice to become expert in it. It will construct our future dazzling on which we are going to spend our whole life. So it’s high time now to adapt meditation as a resolution in our lives.
